A feast of theatre made by and for young people

Connections is the National Theatre’s annual festival of new plays for young people aged 13 – 18 and is one of the most vibrant and important events in the youth theatre calendar.

It gives young people invaluable experience of professional theatre-making. Sherman Theatre is proud to host Connections once again. This year joining Sherman Youth Theatre, with performances of these exciting new plays across three days will be The College Merthyr Tydfil, Bridgend College, Everyman Youth Theatre, Actors Workshop, Perfect Circle Youth Theatre, Sundial Theatre Company, and Swan Theatre Young Rep Company.

 

The Connections 2022 plays are:

Thursday 21 April

Superglue, Everyman Youth Theatre 1.00pm

Hunt, Actors Workshop 4.30pm

 

Friday 22 April

DNA, Bridgend College 12.00pm

Superglue, Perfect Circle Youth Theatre 3.30pm

Hunt, Swan Theatre Young Rep Company 6.00pm

 

Saturday 23 April

Find a Partner!, Sundial Theatre Company 12.00pm

Lost Boys, The College Merthyr Tydfil 3.30pm

Chat Back, Sherman Youth Theatre 5.00pm
