Sherman Theatre: The Women of Llanrumney (16 May – 1 Jun 2024)
Wales’ colonial past is confronted head-on in Azuka Oforka’s devastating historical drama. The Women of Llanrumney announces Azuka Oforka as a major new voice in Welsh theatre. This searing new play is a must see for those looking for powerful, serious drama.
This show deals with slavery, contains racial slurs, scenes which audience members may find distressing, references to violence and abuse and features strong language. For more information click here.
Sherman Theatre: Odyssey ’84 (11 – 26 Oct 2024)
The personal and the political collide in Tim Price’s beautiful and heartfelt re-telling of the 1984 Miners’ Strike, inspired by Homer’s Odyssey.
This show contains depictions of violence and strong language.
