Players is principally a theatre group, but our dedicated team lead sessions that are not just about acting and theatre. We use those techniques to help you gain confidence, learn new skills, have fun and meet new people. We know these skills are just as important as any theatrical experiences you have with us.
Each week will bring different opportunities to learn about theatre making through designing, scriptwriting and acting.
Sherman Players is open to everyone, regardless of ability or circumstance. We know that some people may want to join, but feel apprehensive about making the first step.

Sherman Players sessions are held every Thursday between 7.30pm – 9.30pm in term time and cost £60 per half term.
There is a session every week, but there’s no pressure to attend every one.
THE GRAND
In the summer of 2021 the Sherman Players created, wrote and performed four short films, about the curious events during one stormy night in a rundown hotel.
