“This is the best, most useful education pack I’ve had in 14 years!” Marc Lewis – Head of Drama at Plasmawr School, Cardiff

Our foundation and primary phase resource covers a range of activities relating to Sherman Theatre’s versions of some well-known fairy tales; The Magic Porridge Pot, Little Red Riding Hood, and The Ugly Duckling. The activities involve all six areas of learning, and through key areas of the four purposes support the development of children’s knowledge and understanding of the world around them. Ultimately we hope that this combination will assist in the children’s personal and social development.

For those students in Secondary and Further Education we offer resources designed to support delivery of GCSE, A Level, BETC and UAL Drama, Theatre Studies and Performing arts courses. The selected productions are: Gary Owen’s The Cherry Orchard, Dublin Carol, The Mother F**ker With The Hat, Lord Of The Flies, Woof, Jo Clifford’s The Taming Of The Shrew, Hedda Gabler and The Merthyr Stigmatist. Featuring high quality production photos, practical and academic exercises these resources offer a broad spectrum of cross-curricular opportunity. The packs are also fantastic resources for all young people interested in theatre making.
