We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Frantic Assembly on their free, flagship, talent development programme - Ignition.

WHAT IS IGNITION?
Ignition is Frantic Assembly’s free, nationwide talent development programme, seeking out underrepresented talent in unexpected places. Open to ALL young people aged 16-24.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
This Autumn, Frantic Assembly will be travelling across the UK to deliver FREE taster and trial workshops in association with their 12 regional partners. Frantic Ignition high energy taster and trial workshops are facilitated for young people who face barriers to accessing the arts. Visiting both theatre and non-arts spaces, these workshops were created to let young people that the arts can be for them.

IGNITION INTENSIVE WEEK (21 – 28 Oct 2023)
24 young people will be selected to join Frantic Assembly in London for an intensive week of devising through the Frantic Method to create two public original productions at Brixton HouseTheatre.
All expenses for the intensive including travel, accommodation and food are paid for by Frantic Assembly.

Ignition also includes a year round access programme which continues to develop, mentorand signpost training and career opportunities with Frantic Assembly and their partners throughout the UK.

TASTER & TRIAL FAQS

How long are tasters and trials?
Tasters are 90 minutes. Trials are 120 minutes.

What do I wear to tasters and trials?
Both tasters and trials are movement based. You should wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes/trainers suitable for exercise. Please do not wear skirts, jeans, or jewellery.

If I can’t come to tasters, can I still make it to trials?
Yes! It is optional to attend both tasters and trials. We do highly recommend joining both but understand that due to schedule, this is not always possible.

How many tasters and trials can I attend?
You can only sign up and attend one taster and/or one trial.
