Sherman Theatre is looking for a Welsh speaking Director who is passionate about family theatre to direct our Christmas Show for 3-6 year olds.
Our Studio Christmas shows are the perfect introduction to theatre for little ones and this year we are proud to present Elen Benfelen / Goldilocks written by one of Wales’ most exciting writers, Elgan Rhys.
Featuring a cast of 3 Actor Musicians, this new adaptation will be a fresh and contemporary look at the traditional tale, full of magic and mayhem.
Elen Benfelen / Goldilocks will open in the Sherman’s Studio before heading out on a 3 week tour to venues across South Wales, before returning home to the Sherman for the rest of the festive season.
The Director will need to be exclusively available from Monday 10 October – Saturday 5 November 2022 and from Monday 28 November – Saturday 3 December 2022.
All-inclusive fee off £4200 will be paid in instalments during the project.
