EIGHT: New plays from our newest voices
Thanks to the continued support of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Sherman Theatre’s Introduction to Playwriting course for 15 – 18 year olds has been able to continue throughout lockdown and as it eases.
The participants have created eight monologues which – like our TEN / DEG project – will be performed and self-filmed by actors and shown on Youtube. These monologues examine what our future will look like beyond 2020.
We are seeking both directors and actors as any stage in their careers to make this possible.
Some important info:
- Anyone can apply as long as they are Welsh or Wales-based.
- The Sherman artistic family will select the directors and actors.
- Each director will receive £100.
- Actors must have the ability to self-film their monologue.
- Each actor will receive £80.
There are 7 acting roles available:
