More than ever, this winter Sherman Theatre is your theatre. We want the city’s communities, audiences and creative freelancers to feel at home in our warm and friendly foyer. Our doors are always open. We are here for you.
A place for everyone
Our warm and comfy foyer is open Mon – Sat 9am – 6pm (later when there is a performance). You are welcome to spend as much time as you like here. We offer:
- FREE tea and coffee every Mon – Fri from 11am – 3pm (pick up a voucher on the bar and hand to a member of Café Bar staff to get your free drink)
- Plenty to keep you entertained including Sherman plays to read, colouring sheets, crayons, puzzles, word searches, children’s books, toys and board games
- As ever, there is free WIFI and a host of charging points
- Chatty Tuesdays from 11am – 1pm. If you fancy some company, come down to the Sherman and have a chat with our Sherman 5 team.
Exceptional entertainment for everyone
We want to ensure that the cost of tickets is in reach of as many people as possible:
- Our Pay What You Can Previews (Goldilocks 4 Nov, Elen Benfelen 5 Nov, Tales of the Brothers Grimm 26 & 29 Nov 7pm) mean that you can pay whatever works for you.
- Break down the cost of your tickets for Elen Benefelen / Goldilocks and Tales of the Brothers Grimm into two equal payments, one when you book and the other a week before the performance.
For creative freelancers
Sherman Theatre offers a warm and relaxed environment where creative freelancers can work comfortably. We offer:
- FREE WIFI and charging points
- Open House – a scheme for creative freelancers offering discounts at our Café Bar.
