Are you feeling stuck and want ideas to move forward? Are you looking for encouragement or motivation for what you’re working on? Do you want to talk through a moment in a script for a new perspective?
You can join us at home, on the train, in a cafe – anywhere that you might carve out space and time to write.
How does it work?
Each session consists of two and a half hours to focus on your writing alongside other writers.
Each month the space will be shared with a Guest Writer who will offer some provocations, do a Q&A, be part of a conversation about your process as a writer and get your creative juices flowing.
You will also have time to write, to be inspired by other people writing, to set yourself a goal and have the time and space to achieve it.
In between sessions, Stiwdio Clwyd and Sherman Theatre will host monthly check-ins – to maintain momentum and community and to keep you focused on achieving your writing goals.
These sessions are not an opportunity to share work, receive feedback on your work or pitch ideas to either Sherman Theatre or Theatr Clwyd – it is to focus on the process of writing, build community and find support with fellow playwrights.
Guest Writers include, Azuka Oforka, Siân Owen, Vinay Patel and Russell T Davies.
