Sherman Youth Theatre

Passionate about performing?

yt2015 youtheatre2015

Our youth theatre sets out to encourage the exploration of drama through playful discovery. Throughout the year you will learn skills, be challenged to do things you never thought possible and develop existing talents.

These will culminate in termly presentations of work to invited audiences.

This year we intend to cover a variety of different skill sets taking you through the disciplines of the first theatre makers in Greece through to the laughter filled world of improvisation and the opportunity to perform your very own version of Whose Line Is It Anyway with your parents acting as a live studio audience – under the careful control of your tutors! Finally we invite you to present your own choice of work, crafting it into a showcase evening for public performance alongside your fellow Youth Theatre members.

We aim to instil our participants with an understanding that the dramatic process is equally about both the journey and the destination.

If this sounds like the right place for you check out when our groups are from the information below and give us a call to book your place.

We are very much looking forward to launching our 2018/2019 season of activities.
