EARNING TIME CREDITS: HOW DOES IT WORK?
By giving time to a project in your community that is part of the Tempo Time Credits network, you can earn Time Credits -- Sherman 5 is part of this network.
It's simple: for every hour that you volunteer with us, you earn one Time Credit. With Time Credits, the idea is that everyone's time is worth the same and so everyone earns the same.
You can then spend these in a variety of places -- see below.
Time Credits are a way of acknowledging the time that you are giving. As our partners Tempo put it, 'Time Credits are a way of recognising the amazing things people do in their communities'.
Our partners at Tempo Time Credits created a lovely video about how Time Credits can positively affect someone’s life – you can see it here:
SPENDING TEMPO TIME CREDITS: HOW DOES IT WORK?
You can spend Tempo Time Credits in many different places to do many different things -- there are hundreds of activities on offer across the national Tempo network.
Activities available include getting swimming sessions, going ten-pin bowling, getting hair and beauty treatments, as well as going on trips to the theatre or cinema.
You can find out about all the wonderful places where you can spend Tempo Time Credits here.
