Show Information

Peter Pan

It’s Christmas Eve. Wendy is desperate to make it the best Christmas yet for her two little brothers, and father, while mother and wife is missing from their lives.

A mysterious rebel appears at Wendy’s window. He talks of danger, excitement and adventure in a world far far away.

Enchanted by his stories, Wendy joins the lost boys on a magical journey to Neverland, where she meets fairies, mermaids in the lagoon and when it all turns bad, meets the infamous Captain Hook. But has she forgotten about who she really is and what she has left behind?

“Peter Pan has a way of doing that. Distracting isn’t he? And maybe…handsome too? Oh yes you can lose hours with him. Days. Weeks even…”

This magical reimagining of J.M Barrie’s classic story will feature all the favourite characters, Peter, Wendy, the Lost Boys and of course, the baddie we all love to hate, Captain Hook.

Celebrate Christmas with us at the new Sherman Cymru, with our first Christmas show back in our new theatre home.

'This is a thoroughly enjoyable re-making of an old Christmas favourite that really does justice to superbly refurbished Sherman, and re-establishes a much-loved Sherman tradition for staging enjoyable Christmas shows.'
Wales Online

'If you’re looking for excitement, great storytelling and don’t want to grow up this Christmas, then Sherman Cymru is the place to be.'
Nick Beasley (and his two daughters!) What's On Wales

'With its very clever set, it is safe to say that this is a thoroughly enjoyable re-make of the festive favourite.'
The Public Reviews

‘Peter Pan is the first festive production following the venue’s two-year refurb and it suitably flies into realm of “awesome”, as my ten-year-old sister happily announced during the interval.’
Tom Bevan, The Sprout
