Show Information

Cardiff Fringe Theatre Festival was set up in 2016 to help make theatre affordable for audiences and artists. This year the festival takes place from 31 May to 16 June, all over Cardiff. Three events will take place in the Sherman Foyer:

4 Jun - CFTF Free Fringe: Slam Poetry Night

Share your poems and compete for the grand prize of... feeling really proud of yourself, and a drink on us! Don't be shy, this is a friendly affair for all poets and audiences alike. More info on rules and how to enter will be on CFTF social media so follow follow follow!

This show free and is not ticketed - just show up!

5 Jun - Fringe Presents: #Live Show 1 by Godden & Barnes
7.30pm - 8.30pm

Somewhat structured in cabaret form, Godden & Barnes travel through classic acts like ‘Jumping the Line’ and ‘When You’re String’ right up to the Spanish borders with some beautiful (and fruitful) flamenco music. This is not a show to be missed! The use of prop comedy within this show is strictly not prohibited. It’s silly, it’s fun and it’s never done! This performance is not recommended for under 12s

7 Jun - Fringe Labs: The Dress Rehearsal by Felix & Sam
8.30pm - 9.30pm

More camp than a row of pink tents! Delve into the lives of this dazzling duo, who bring you a work-in-progress show full of sparkling stupidity, music, comedy and costumes galore! "A proper, classic cabaret show" (Buzz Magazine)
Strong language, explicit content. Anyone under the age of 16 will not be admitted to this performance.
