Featuring Shakespeare’s beloved character Sir John Falstaff, Verdi’s final opera tells the comedic tale of Falstaff’s greed-driven schemes to woo married women for their fortunes. An ill-advised adventure that comes humorously crashing down around him after the women uncover his plan and seek to enact their madcap revenge.

Supported by David Seligman and the Philippa Seligman legacy and the Connect Fund. Opera Scholarships at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama are supported by Dame Shirley Bassey and the Leverhulme Trust.
