Sherman Theatre is committed to continuing to develop exciting new writing. Thanks to an anonymous donation and inspired by Papaptango’s brilliant idea, our temporary closure won’t prevent us from doing this. TEN is a collection of short monologues written by Welsh and Wales-based writers. Each monologue will be performed and self-filmed by a different actor.
The writers who have been selected are: Rick Allden, Connor Allen, Emma Cooney, Katie Elin-Salt, Kelly Jones, Sarah Louise Madden, Elin Phillips, Alexandria Riley, Alun Saunders and Owen Thomas.
TEN will be broadcast on Sherman Theatre’s channels from 27 April.
TEN is part of Interval, an evolving series of projects designed to support our artistic and freelance community and give our audiences the exceptional new writing they are used to whilst the theatre is closed.
Sherman Theatre is currently closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic and is facing a very difficult situation. This is a challenging time for everyone. If you are able to make a donation it would help to ensure we can continue to provide great theatre experiences for the communities of Cardiff.
Our vital earned income streams have disappeared. Without your support we will not be able to continue to provide great theatre experiences for the people of Cardiff, Wales and beyond.
Your donation will support the Sherman during this difficult time and ensure that our doors can open for you again.
