1-3 April 2016 celebrates Get Creative weekend, a bumper weekend to celebrate the nation’s creativity led by BBC Cymru Wales, Arts Council of Wales and What Next? To join the fun, we have plenty of family friendly activity to get involved with.

Get Creative with Tiddler and Other Stories

Visit the Sherman Theatre for an afternoon of FREE activities.

Location: Sherman Theatre Foyer and Studio

Tiddler was a fish with a big imagination; let your children share their imagination with us in our family friendly activities.

Join us in our storytelling corner with the brilliant Tamar Eluned Williams, a professional story teller and Assistant Director for our under 7’s Christmas show The Princess and The Pea / Y Dywysoges a’r Bysen Fechan Fach. There will be three drop in storytelling sessions at 12.30pm, 1.30pm & 2.30pm.

Other free activity includes creating a Tiddler hat, creating your own sea creature or sending a message in a bottle in our underwater world of imagination.

Times: Morning session 11am – 1pm  / Afternoon session 2pm – 4pm

Sherman 5 are running FREE workshops at National Museum Wales to celebrate Julia Donaldson’s book, ‘Tiddler and other Terrific Tales’. Surrounded by the creatures in the National Museum Wales’ Discovery Centre, you and your family will get to find out more about underwater creatures and make a special crown to take home.


Plus enter the special prize draw to win tickets to see Tiddler and Other Terrific Tales at at the Sherman Theatre!
