STRAIGHT FROM NEW YORK SHERMAN THEATRE’S PRODUCTION OF TREMOR HEADS TO THEATR CLWYD AND THE EDINBURGH FESTIVAL FRINGE

Following successful runs in Cardiff and the Brits Off-Broadway festival at 59E59 Theaters in New York; Tremor plays at Theatr Clwyd, Mold from 3 – 7 July before heading to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as part of Paines Plough’s Roundabout at Summerhall season. A fantastic cast has been assembled for this World Premiere production. Welsh actress Louise Collins (Julius Caesar RSC, Nye and Jennie Theatr na nÓg) plays Sophie and Paul Rattray (Game of Thrones, Jamestown) plays Tom. Sophie & Tom are a couple torn apart in the aftermath of tragedy. Coming face to face four years on, the realization hits that trauma can not only tear you apart, it can change you forever. Written by Welsh playwright Brad Birch,

Tremor is a timely exploration of how society reacts to tragedy in a world riven with tension, anxiety and fear. Following the international success of Iphigenia in Splott, and the Olivier Award Winning Killology, Sherman Theatre continues to reinforce its commitment to nationally showcase the best Welsh writing talent.

Tremor is at Theatr Clwyd, Mold from 3 – 7 July and features as part of Paines Plough’s Roundabout at Summerhall season at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from 2 – 26 August.
