Sherman Theatre’s new Associate Director David Mercatali will direct Brad Birch’s latest play Tremor this spring. Tremor will be David’s first production at Sherman Theatre following Buddy by Katherine Chandler which he will direct at Royal Welsh Music of Drama in co-production with the Sherman in March as part of NEW:2018.

Sherman Theatre’s Artistic Director Rachel O’Riordan said ‘I am pleased to be able to introduce David Mercatali to two Welsh playwrights in his new role as Associate Director at the Sherman. It’s also exciting to introduce another director to our audience, as we continue to make relevant and exceptional new work.’

David Mercatali said ‘Tremor is a timely and important play which I am honoured to be working on. I am looking forward to making my debut in the Sherman Studio.’

Tremor runs from 12 April to 5 May. Tickets are on sale and available here
