Paid workshop delivery opportunity

21 Oct 2020

We are seeking an artist to work alongside theatre Designer Aled Wyn Williams to deliver a pre-recorded workshop as part of our Heart of Cardiff season. The workshop will accompany Emily Garside’s audio documentary Centre Stage: Stories of Cardiff's LGBTQIA+ Community.

The successful applicant will collaborate with Aled in the creation of the content of this workshop and take an active role in the delivery of the planned work. No experience of workshop leadership is necessary. Facilitation training and support will be provided by Sherman Theatre’s Creative Engagement team.

We hope that this workshop will be an opportunity to educate and inform people about the importance and significance of the colours found within the plethora of pride flags.

Due to the nature if this work we feel that it is important that the workshop leadership reflects the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community, as such we are seeking applicants who identify as Trans, Non-Binary or Genderqueer who work within the visual arts.

This is a paid opportunity.
Fee: £100.
Deadline for applications: 30 Oct

Applicants should send a brief overview of their experience to timothy.howe@shermantheatre.co.uk.

Any information sent to us will be treated in confidence and will not be stored beyond the selection process.
