At the Sherman we make and curate exciting theatre for Cardiff audiences. We develop and nurture the work of Welsh and Wales based artists. We generate opportunities for the citizens of Cardiff to connect with theatre through relevant, inspiring and visionary engagement.
We are looking to expand our network of freelance practitioners as we continue with our extensive learning, community and outreach projects.
We regularly run workshops and projects for our youth theatres, schools and colleges, and with groups in the community, and we want to increase the number of freelancers we work with. Successful workshop leaders will be paid on a session-by-session or project basis.
We are looking for highly skilled, engaging practitioners who share our commitment to meaningful engagement.
Practitioners will have:
- Extensive, relevant and recent experience in their field
- Relevant experience working with community groups, young people, and/or the formal education sector
- Enthusiasm and passion for their work.
As our Creative Learning programme is delivered in Cardiff and South Wales we are looking for freelancers within these regions. The ability to work in Welsh is desirable but not essential.
If you are interested in this opportunity please send a CV and a short covering letter, including any specialist skills you may have, to: firstname.lastname@example.org
