Arriving by Car

Address: Sherman Theatre, Senghenydd Road, Cathays, Cardff CF24 4YE

From M4 East (Junction 29 A48) or M4 West (Junction 32) follow signs to the City Centre on the A470 (North Road).

Pass Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and turn left onto Boulevard de Nantes.

Turn first left onto Park Place and the first right onto St Andrew’s Place. Senghennydd Road is the first sharp turning on the left immediately after going under the bridge on St. Andrew’s Place.

Access Parking

There are spaces available for blue badge holders located in front of the building. These are owned by Cardiff Council and they are available on a first-come first served basis. If you require additional assistance please contact Ticketing and Reception 029 2064 6900 when booking your tickets.

There is a drop-off point with a dropped kerb leading to the main entrance, where our main entrance has assisted doors which lead directly into the foyer.

Parking details

The nearest car park is NCP Dumfries Place which is a five minute walk. There is on street car parking in Cathays Park which is just over five minutes’ walk away. On street parking is now very limited on Senghennydd Road.

SPECIAL EVENING PARKING RATE FOR SHERMAN THEATRE ATTENDERS - £4.50

Sherman Theatre attenders can park at NCP Dumfries Place at the special rate of just £4.50 (for parking from 5.00pm – 6.00am).

To take advantage of this very special rate simply follow these steps:

1. Collect a parking ticket from the machine as you enter the car park and retain that ticket
2. Once you have parked your car make your way to Sherman Theatre and prior to the performance collect a second car parking ticket from the Box Office
3. At the end of the evening when you return to the car park first insert the original ticket that you collected from Dumfries Place Car Park followed by the ticket given to you by Sherman Theatre - this will ensure that the original ticket is discounted.

Please ensure you retain your original ticket as you will need both to receive your discount.
