ScriptSlam

ScriptSlam is a popular and fun monthly evening of new writing in the relaxed studio venue at Sherman. 

Each month four new ten minute plays by four new writers are performed script-in-hand by professional actors.

Each writer will have a script developing session with the Sherman Literary team in order to gain as much as possible from the experience of writing a script for stage.

After each play is performed a panel of industry experts - writers, actors and directors as well as our 'voice from the street' - will be on hand to offer their feedback on each play.

You the audience will then get to vote for your favourite play of the evening. The winner of the vote goes on to the Grand Final. The winning play in the final will have the opportunity to meet the Sherman Cymru Literary team and work with them to develop the script further.

Held between September and April, ScriptSlam is a great opportunity to showcase bite-size chunks of new writing.
