"IT'S THE DEEPEST LAKE IN THE COUNTRY… MY DAD TOLD ME THAT THE STILLNESS WAS A BIT OF A LIE. 'IT LOOKS STILL, LISA, BUT YOU SHOULD SEE HOW MANY BODIES ARE HIDDEN UNDER THERE'."

Harry is about to leave England for good. His foster mother, and his guilt, are being left behind. In a boutique hotel room, Mark and Lisa are on the brink of sexual betrayal. They’ve never done this before. Jonathan’s made a deal on the Dark Web. Sian will ensure he faces the consequences: good and bad.

Set on the transitory fringes of Heathrow Airport, award winning playwright Simon Stephens’ Wastwater presents three studies of how far we will go to get what we want.

Simon Stephens is the Jane Hodge International Chair in Drama
