New Writing

Sherman Cymru is committed to discovering, supporting and producing new work for the stage by Welsh and Wales-based writers. We work with both new and experienced writers to nurture fresh, vibrant ideas through a vigorous dramaturgical process, and into production.

Following Sgript Cymru's exemplary example, we dedicate ourselves to finding and fostering challenging and incisive theatrical visions, both in Welsh and in English. We also work with emerging writers and young people, and on a community level, offering support, workshops and mentorship.
